(Reuters) – Spain’s Asco I nuclear plant has made an unscheduled slowdown of over 20 percent of its capacity after a rush of algae into one of the cooling channels, the National Security Council said in a note on Wednesday.

It said capacity would be increased as soon as the channels were cleared. (Reporting by Nigel Davies; Editing by Tracy Rucinski)
