“Recently, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circu
it found that the NRC had violated the National Environmental Policy Act
(NEPA) in issuing its 2010 update to
the Waste Confidence Decision and accompanying Temporary Storage Rule.
2 The court vacated both the Decision and the Rule, and remanded the case
for further proceedings consistent with the court’s opinion.” quote from the NRC.
