A reading of the above reveals that the use of Naval resources by Australia, as an aid to the civil power in respect to asylum seekers setting out from Indonesia for Australia, is the pathetic state of Australian Customs resources in this matter.
We don’t have military personnel at Air Ports.
We are not at war with refugees, as much as the government may wish to imply as much by it’s imposition of secrecy provisions by the military (under orders from the MInister) upon the Australian press and public.
